Prevention, Retention, and Contingency

The Prevention, Retention, & Contingency (PRC) program in Muskingum County aids low-income families with children facing urgent needs. The PRC program is designed to assist families in overcoming immediate barriers, providing services to enable families to move toward self-sufficiency and maintain employment. The program aims to help families avoid crisis that could lead to ongoing public assistance. Eligibility includes low-income families who need short term help during a crisis or time of need. Services may include work clothes, gas cards, tires, plates, car repairs, car insurance, or background checks.
